The Fierce Urgency of Now

Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom and Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. Thousands of people participated in a week-long commemoration of the events of August 28, 1963, supporting King’s dream of racial harmony and the fight for justice and equality.
