“All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” – Martin Luther King Jr. Labor Day is just around the corner and as we say goodbye to summer, let’s pause to reflect on the meaning of this holiday and celebrate the vast contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. As we’ve previously reported, pro bono lawyers have a critical role to play in protecting workers’ rights and there is still more to be done to secure fair wages, benefits, schedules, and hours, safe conditions, and equality for all in
