The following list includes pro bono opportunities open to in-house lawyers and legal professionals across legal departments as part of EmPOWERing Pro Bono Day 2025. This year’s EmPOWERing Pro Bono Day takes place on Thursday, November 13, 2025 (including events during the ten days before and after the official date).
Organized by Corporate Pro Bono (CPBO) — the global in-house project of the Pro Bono Institute (PBI) — in partnership with Entergy Corporation and the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), EmPOWERing Pro Bono Day brings together legal departments across the energy and utility industries to provide pro bono legal assistance to individuals and communities in need.
The events listed here are open across departments and companies. They include virtual, hybrid, and in-person opportunities addressing a range of needs. Some programs can accommodate many volunteers, while others have limited capacity, so please RSVP at your earliest convenience to confirm your participation.
This list will be updated on a rolling basis as new opportunities are confirmed. (Note: Events that are not open to other legal departments are not included below. All events will be included in the final event writeup that highlights the collaborative impact of EmPOWERing Pro Bono Day 2025.)
