PNC Pro Bono Program Overview

PNC has a long history of supporting community programs for those who are disadvantaged or in need. In 2015, PNC became a signatory to the Corporate Pro Bono Challenge® initiative and set the goal of having more than 50 percent of all PNC Legal employees participate in the Pro Bono Program. Today, PNC Legal’s Pro Bono Program continues to grow and to seek out interesting and meaningful opportunities for pro bono engagements in each city where PNC has lawyers, and we are particularly proud to have initiated the Financial Institution Pro Bono Day – an international event that, in 2023, included more than 1,300 volunteers.

In 2018, PNC received the Pro Bono Institute’s Laurie D. Zelon Pro Bono Award for its commitment to pro bono legal services, giving Greg the privilege of interviewing Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at a special reception hosted for PBI annual conference attendees and other pro bono and access to justice leaders.

PBI thanks Greg Jordan and PNC for their support of and participation in the delivery of pro bono legal services.
